Butford Organics - Bodenham, Herefordshire
Herefordshire is the home of the cider apple and perry pear and at Butford Farm the tradition of quality cider and perry production is maintained. The barn area adjoining their shop boasts a 300-year old cider mill.
Organic cider, perry and apple juice all made with freshly pressed juice and fermented with wild yeasts are then carefully bottle conditioned, rarther than carbonated, or bottled still for your pleasure.
Draught dry and medium (8.0%) - available in 1 and 2.5 litre plastic bottles or 10 and 20 litre bag-in-boxes.
Nimbus (6.0%) - still filtered medium. Only natural apple sugars. Nothing added. 75cl bottle.
Ganymede (7.5%) - sparkling bottle conditioned dry. 75cl champagne bottle.
Draught dry and medium (6.5%) - available in 1 and 2.5 litre plastic bottles or 10 and 20 litre bag-in-boxes. Organic usually available.
Aurora (7.0%) - sparkling bottle conditioned medium or medium dry. 75cl champagne bottle.
Aurora Premier Crus (7.3%) - organic sparkling bottled conditioned made from our own perry pear trees. 75cl champagne.
Sadira (6.0%) - organic gently effervescent bottle conditioned medium. 75cl champagne bottle.
